Going full steam ahead into training at BUTTING!

Managing Director Thomas Schüller welcomed all 35 new trainees at the induction event on the factory premises. It was full steam ahead this week when trainees from 10 different training occupations kicked off this year's team week.

The BUTTING family of employees continues to grow. "We look forward to meeting you and you can be pleased too. A new phase of life is about to begin and your path led you to BUTTING",
was how Managing Director Thomas Schüller welcomed all 35 new trainees at the induction event on the factory premises in Knesebeck at the beginning of August.

It was full steam ahead this week when trainees from 10 different training occupations kicked off this year's team week. In small groups, there were rounds of introductions involving trainees and training officers as well as the works council and the youth and trainee representatives. Thomas Schüller reminisced. He proudly showed the junior staff a workpiece from his early years as a trainee at BUTTING. He made it clear that "every workpiece, no matter how small and inconspicuous, is significant. Here at BUTTING, the work of each individual is valued. We help you to grow into your own potential and to develop your personality. By performing well and being reliable, you have the opportunity to become our future specialists. Because good training is part of our mission statement!" He added: "We rely on you. You can instigate changes. I look forward to welcoming you as new members of our staff family."

The first task involved designing team posters. In the joint round, the trainees positioned themselves with the sentence: "As trainees at BUTTING, we stand for teamwork, community, trust, willingness to perform as well as innovation and a successful future." On the days that followed in this team week, more presentations were prepared and a rally was started. In teams, they got to know BUTTING and its production as well as each other more intensively.

Lined up in front of the family business' trademark, all trainees from the occupational groups gathered for a group photo on the first day. Afterwards, they were invited to have a snack with the trainers.
