Stainless steel: Individual training

Many customers and business partners hold the stainless steel processor, BUTTING, in high regard particularly because of its high-quality products and technical expertise. This conviction leads both national and international partners to put their trust in BUTTING for staging joint specialist training of their staff: with the seminars of BUTTING’s practical product training.

The BUTTING Academy also supports and develops individually designed training sessions for individual companies on the subjects of stainless steel and quality pipes. The seminar contents are proposed together with the speakers and co-ordinated with the customer as appropriate.

In these individual training sessions, we put great emphasis on the fact that only BUTTING employees are used as speakers. They bring to the table both their specialist expertise and their everyday experience from the different production areas.

The individual focus topics are discussed in short, theoretical presentations and then illustrated in practice with reference to current production. In addition to the information on pipe production from steel coil and plate and shaped parts and prefabrication, the processing possibilities for pipes can also be explained. For example, an essential part of this practical style of teaching is the chance to take part in a welding taster course. Here, the participants can themselves try out a welding procedure in the training and experimental welding shop.

The response is very positive right across the board: In addition to the practical nature of the sessions, participants have up to now been particularly impressed by the wide range of our products. One participant explains: "Though I’ve known BUTTING as a supplier for ages, this is the first time I realised that pipe fittings are also produced in Knesebeck". Another adds: "When we toured the premises, I was impressed by the range of products and by the staff who are very proud of their products and the different manufacturing options". However, they all agreed that welding was harder than they expected.

We will be happy to provide more details about our training courses and to develop an individually-tailored seminar with you. Just give us a call!
