On the way to Knesebeck, this applies to each and every one of us. Whether by bicycle, moped, or car, it is essential to correctly assess our abilities and know the limits of our vehicle. For car and motorcycle drivers, driver safety training courses offer a good opportunity to learn these limits and gain important experience. How does my car behave in aquaplaning or on ice? At what speeds can I still swerve safely? How long is my braking distance in the rain?
All of these situations were faced by 25 young trainees training to become machine and plant operators during driver safety training at Hammersteinpark in Wesendorf. What is particularly valuable here is that there is no danger to other road users on the traffic training facility.
The conclusion: Every trainee showed a steep learning curve. Every year, our future leaders take part in driver safety training courses.
