Founded in 1899, SCHWANNER evolved from a small forge into a globally leading MSE specialising in vacuum technology. In addition to their specialist interests, BUTTING and SCHWANNER have many other things in common: product quality and customer satisfaction have always been top priorities – both companies can look back on a long history and both take responsibility with regard to their employees, fellow human beings and the environment. The management team includes the former owner, Johann Schwanner. He is responsible for equipment and enhancement in the field of vacuum technology. Marcel Bartels and Heike Hermann from the BUTTING Group were appointed as directors of Schwanner GmbH. Marcel Bartels will be in charge of overall management in his capacity as CEO and Heike Hermann with commercial management in her role as CFO. Both will also be responsible for integration into the BUTTING Group.
