New manager in charge of sales CRA pipes

At the beginning of April, Simon Hoffäller took over as Head of the CRA pipes sales department at BUTTING. As Head of department, he will in future manage and develop both the "Stock/trading" and "Project trading/EPC" areas.

For the past 20 years, Simon Hoffäller was in charge of international sales management for small, medium-sized and corporate industrial and trading companies and dealt with technical systems, components and services requiring intensive consultancy work. Here the strategic development of international markets was one of his outstanding skills. The man from Saarland (Germany) has been able to demonstrate this in a wide variety of sales managerial roles in metal-processing industrial companies.

His objective is to continue the development of existing tried and tested concepts, and to continually improve service orientation and customer communications. Simon Hoffäller explains: "I firmly believe that in times when markets are constantly converging and products are becoming more comparable, only those providers who stand for sustainable service and quality ideas will survive and prosper in the long term. I find BUTTING very attractive because this family business, rich in tradition, has been putting that philosophy into practice for more than 240 years. My aim is to continue improving cooperation with our customers and the quality of our relationships in the long term."

Simon Hoffäller will manage the CRA pipes sales department with that objective in future. In this role he is responsible for the extensive pipe stores, the production of corrosion-resistant pipes with short delivery times and the order-specific processing of products from store. Another central focus of his activities will be collaboration with the project trade and EPC companies, which he wishes to intensify and expand.

Norbert Heinzle, Managing Director at BUTTING in Knesebeck, explains: "With Simon Hoffäller we have acquired an experienced leader for our company. With him, we will support our customers from a very broad spectrum of industrial sectors and the trade in a target-orientated manner. We are convinced that Simon Hoffäller will be an excellent addition to our team and look forward to working with him."
