More than a long-distance relationship!

Closed ports, supply disruptions due to global crises? Instability threatening your production? Costs exploding?

BUTTING is aware of these sentiments in the European market and sees itself as a like-minded partner. That's why we launched the campaign "Kein Bock auf Fernbeziehungen" – more than a long-distance relationship.

Jörn Kubiak, head of the customised components unit, explains: "Our aim is to raise awareness of regional partnerships once more. For us, long-standing cooperation with customers and partners has always been the focus of our business activities – in good times and bad." At the same time, he is convinced: "Together we can reduce your supply chain risks while investing in manufacturing capacity in Germany."

We have been a family business for more than 245 years – with just under 2 000 employees today – and have extensive experience in the production of:

  • Stainless steel components
  • Ready-for-installation modules
  • Longitudinally welded pipes

We work for renowned industrial customers from a wide range of sectors and supply them around the globe. These include Airbus, Air Liquide, Claas, Endress + Hauser, Emerson, GEA, Grundfos, John Deere, Krones, Linde, MAN, Rolls-Royce, Siemens, Volkswagen, Wacker Chemie and Zeppelin. We handle everything from one-off manufacturing right up to a production with several thousand parts per year. "We invested 'boldly' in many of these partnerships from the beginning and have built up customised, efficient production capacities for our customers," explains Jörn Kubiak. "Thanks to our diversity of services and willingness to invest, we can secure the supply chain for our partners."

"Together for independence, stability and more 'Made in Germany' quality – that's what I and my name stand for."
Hermann Butting, 7th generation owner
