Enhanced capacity in apparatus and pipeline construction

BUTTING Anlagenbau in Schwedt has expanded its expertise and capacity in apparatus and pipeline construction. At the beginning of July, the company TEXTORIS was acquired.

TEXTORIS was founded in 1947 as a copper forge in the town of Düren, North Rhine-Westphalia, and is now in its third generation. The owner-managed business produces stainless steel products, as well as non-ferrous metals and general structural steel. This wide range of advanced and high-quality products is used in the paper and pulp, pharmaceutical, food and luxury foods industries, as well as in the chemical engineering sector. Its sale to BUTTING has secured its continued existence.

Marko Busse, Managing Director of BUTTING Anlagenbau in Schwedt, explains: "The acquisition of the business will enable us to draw on the many years of experience and expertise among the employees of a recognised company. The necessary qualifications in quality assurance for plant and apparatus construction are already in place. This is the basis on which we can expand our industrial services in Düren and the surrounding area."

"Everyone involved in the acquisition will benefit. TEXTORIS customers will see positive synergy effects. And we'll be able to respond more quickly in terms of maintenance measures for our regional BUTTING customers," Dirk Mitterhofer, Managing Director of BUTTING Anlagenbau, adds. For management, the objective is clear: "We can see great potential for high-quality plant construction and in local maintenance for the paper and pulp industry. We want to grow and acquire new employees from the region and from North Rhine-Westphalia."

Since it was established in 1777, BUTTING has grown continuously. With its efficient global network, BUTTING is perfectly at home in the world's growth markets today. Our customers gain from the strengths of the individual companies that are grouped together for the benefit of our partners.
