The reason for the visit was to present a symbolic donation check for €5,000, with which our family-owned company is supporting the school's innovative educational work.
The Butting family had already supported the school with a generous donation at Christmas – a timely gift, as the school administrators emphasized. The connection to the school, which stands for creative, self-determined, and holistic education, is based on a shared attitude toward values, community, and shaping the future.
In recognition of this support, the school community prepared a special welcome: an artistically designed flower arch – traditionally reserved for new students and staff – decorated the entrance area. Mrs. and Mr. Butting and Ms. Richter symbolically entered the community through this arch – a sign of deep gratitude.
Afterwards, the guests were given a tour of the school building, where they gained insights into the educational concept and the everyday life of the students. The highlight was a visit to the school's own student café, “Wolke 7,” which is run by sixth-grade students and opened exclusively for this occasion. Here, in a relaxed atmosphere, there was a lively exchange between the donors, students, and school administrators.
“It is a matter close to our hearts to support a school that imparts knowledge and values to children at the same time,” said Mr. Butting during the conversation. Impressed by the commitment and atmosphere at the school, he and Mrs. Butting pledged further support.
The donation from BUTTING CryoTech will be invested specifically in infrastructure projects and the further development of the school. BUTTING is proud to support educational institutions such as the Freie Schule Unterneukirchen and thus contribute to the future of young people.
