BUTTING China: New production plant and canteen

The name BUTTING has long been synonymous with strong customer ties and a continuous presence on international markets – including a production plant in China, a country defined by growth. This year, BUTTING invested in a new production plant and canteen at its site in Tieling.

A characteristic feature of the 48 x 57 m production plant is the 9 5 m hook height of the 4 x 10 tonnes cranes. This makes the site universally suitable for both pipe construction and the production of medium-sized vessels. Since the end of October, employees in Tieling have also been able to dine in the new 450 m² canteen. "The new canteen has plenty of space, meets current hygiene requirements and is a pleasant environment for everyone to eat in. It also enhances our employer attractiveness", Jens Ellermann, Managing Director of BUTTING China, explains.

BUTTING China was founded in Shanghai back in 2004.

In 2011, the company opened its own production facility in Tieling in northern China. Although the site produces for the Chinese market, its primary focus is the international market. Many projects can be handled jointly by several companies in the BUTTING Group. As demand has grown steadily in recent years, BUTTING China continues to invest in expanding its production capacity.

In addition to the new plant and canteen, the 70 000 m² premises include an office building, a 6 280 m² production hall, a modern pickling plant, including neutralisation, and a 3 500 m² hall with separate areas for a steel shot blasting room, a paint booth and acceptance / packaging.
