After a short welcome speech by Works Council member Eric Bierstedt, the guests chatted in small groups over coffee and cake.
Later on, the retired employees listened to a presentation given by company owner Hermann Butting, who recounted some of the most memorable events of the past year at BUTTING. He was particularly pleased at the "record number" of people at this year's Christmas party: 118 former employees. He also expressed gratitude to all those former employees attending the event for their valuable contributions to BUTTING's long-standing success.
The evening concluded with light refreshments and a gift of regional specialities for each guest.
