Sustainability is an integral part of BUTTING’s corporate strategy. This commitment was once again recognised by EcoVadis in July 2026: the head office in Knesebeck was awarded the Gold Medal and achieved 85 out of 100 points. This places BUTTING among the top 5 per cent of companies assessed worldwide.
This latest accolade underlines the path BUTTING is pursuing in the area of sustainability. At the same time, it provides our customers and business partners with reliable proof that responsible and sustainable practices are firmly embedded within our company.

“85 out of 100 points is an outstanding result and, at the same time, an incentive to continuously improve and meet the increasing demands for responsible conduct. We are particularly pleased that we were able to improve by 4 points in each of the areas of ethics and sustainable procurement compared with last year’s assessment.”
