250 years are certainly worth telling and preserving - and pausing for a moment. In the run-up to the upcoming anniversary year, our company has compiled a chronicle in four volumes that describes more than two centuries of the history of our company and the Butting family.
The publication provides a chronological overview of the key milestones and technical developments and tells the story of the people who have shaped BUTTING.
Our company has been family-owned since it was founded in 1777 and is now managed by the seventh generation of the Butting family, Hermann Butting. This continuity is based on the one hand on long-term corporate responsibility and on the other hand on the commitment and expertise of the employees who have helped to shape progress over many years.
An industrial company with an international focus has developed from its artisanal beginnings. Progress has always been based on experience: proven strengths have been retained and at the same time technologies, processes and partnerships have been further developed to meet the requirements of the times. This understanding still characterises our actions today and is reflected in our guiding principle of "Progress by Tradition".
The four-part chronicle documents this path chronologically, clearly and comprehensibly. It shows technical innovations, strategic decisions and co-operation with customers and partners worldwide. The publication will be handed over to customers and business partners over the next few months.
The chronicle thus not only stands for a look back, but also for confidence in the future - based on experience, technical expertise and long-term co-operation.
BUTTING - more than pipes - for a better quality of life
