Skids for distillation plant

Skid solution for distillation plant in the chemical industry (Antwerp, Belgium): BUTTING Anlagenbau in Schwedt was commissioned to manufacture and install a one-piece skid (made from over 681 metres of pipe) for a long-standing customer.

Large vessels for thermal evaporator system

Large vessels such as this 17 metre high and 70 tonne version for a thermal evaporator system are prefabricated in the hall at BUTTING, assembled outside and finally fitted and completed with internal pipework in an upright position.

Ring Burner

BUTTING has successfully delivered a ring burner for its long-standing customer Topsøe - an important component for the production of ammonia. The very demanding manual welds are particularly noteworthy.

Partnership for green fuel

For more than 20 years, BUTTING Anlagenbau in Schwedt has been working with Verbio, whose biorefineries refine raw and residual agricultural materials into climate-friendly fuels, green energy and renewable products for the chemical and agricultural industries. We equip the plants with tanks, columns and complex pipework.

Large container for biodiesel plant

The 54-tonne large tank for a biodiesel plant in Ghent, Belgium, with a diameter of almost 7 metres and a length of 26 metres, could be manufactured entirely in the BUTTING company hall at the Schwedt site thanks to the available capacities.

The production of high-quality stainless steel tubes in longitudinally welded construction is BUTTING's core business.

We were commissioned with the production of longitudinally welded pipes for a major investment in the chemical industry: BUTTING manufactured a total of almost 1,200 metres in Könnern and then delivered them on schedule.

In a large number of projects in chemical plant and equipment construction, companies worldwide rely on proven BUTTING quality, our many years of experience in stainless steel processing and our wide range of products. This is why we have been a licenced supplier to leading chemical companies such as Bayer, BASF and Infraserv for decades.

We set standards in terms of innovation: BUTTING has been manufacturing piggable pipelines and elbows with single or multiple bends made of stainless steel since the mid-1990s. In co-operation with users and producers, we developed and decisively influenced DIN 2430-1, the first German standard for piggable pipes, on the basis of a BUTTING works standard.
