From January 2025, BUTTING is significantly expanding its range of services in plant construction by opening a new engineering office. The aim of this strategic development is to increase service quality, offer a broader product portfolio and add upstream processes to the value chain.
By integrating the engineering services, the company is entering plant construction projects at an earlier stage. The shift from the classic build-to-print approach to an extended vertical range of manufacture makes it possible to organise planning and production processes more efficiently and offer customised solutions from a single source.
The new service portfolio includes
- On-site measurement
- 3D modelling for visualisation and planning
- P&ID creation for process documentation
- Derivation of isometrics for precise production documents
- Calculation of steel construction, piping and tank designs (unpressurised and pressurised)
The comprehensive integration along the value chain results in shorter project lead times, fewer interfaces and optimised planning reliability for our customers.
The engineering office in Oberursel is headed by Mr Jens Nitschke, an experienced expert in plant engineering. He will be supported by a team of seven specialists, consisting of pipework engineers, mechanical designers and steel construction designers with many years of experience in international plant construction. Together, the team will focus on realising projects efficiently and at the highest technical level.
