Engineering

Pipeline construction

Piping design includes the planning and design of pipework systems, taking into account pressure, temperature, medium and installation conditions. The aim is to create a safe, standardised and economical solution that guarantees functionality and ease of maintenance in equal measure.

Our modern design tools and sound experience enable precise implementation of complex requirements:

Finite Element Method (FEM)

BUTTING uses the finite element method (FEM) to calculate virtual components on the computer in order to demonstrate their static and dynamic structural behaviour. This also includes the occurrence of natural vibrations in the machining process or loads during transport: the simulation provides information about the influence of forces on individual parts, functional groups and even complete machines.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used to visualise and analyse the flow paths and curves of your product ideas. This enables us to better understand the functionality and performance and identify critical areas in the design phase before production costs are incurred. This enables us to optimise components and systems for you in a particularly resource-efficient way.
