In recent years, the BUTTING has responded to increasing demand. Management and employees from production launched a joint lean initiative. The goal: to optimise processes, increase efficiency and expand capacities.
The team monitored and optimised the production of BuBi® tubes for several weeks.
Marc Brauße, Head of the Clad Pipes business unit, reports: "Together, we made a few small adjustments. The effects are noticeable. The results include optimised processes, smoother transitions between projects and increased production output." This means additional production capacity for customers. Marc Brauße summarises: "We have recognised the signals from the market and taken the right measures. We are faster and more efficient than ever and are available for new, short-term projects with the usual BUTTING quality!"
