A special day for the Freie Schule Unterneukirchen in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting: Hermann Butting and Daniela Richter, representing BUTTING CryoTech, were warmly welcomed into the school community during a festive reception. The occasion of the visit was the presentation of a symbolic donation cheque for 5,000 euros, which our family-owned company is using to support the school's innovative educational work.
The Butting family had already supported the school with a generous donation at Christmas - help at the right time, as school officials emphasised. The connection to the school, which stands for creative, self-determined and holistic education, is based on a shared attitude towards values, community and shaping the future.
In recognition of this support, the school community organised a special reception: An artistically designed flower arch - otherwise traditionally reserved for new pupils and staff - adorned the entrance area. Mrs and Mr Butting and Mrs Richter symbolically entered the community through this arch - a sign of deep gratitude.
The guests were then given a tour of the school building to gain an insight into the educational concept and everyday life of the pupils, culminating in a visit to the school's own café "Wolke 7", which is run by Year 6 pupils and opened exclusively for the occasion. Here, the donors, pupils and school officials engaged in a lively dialogue in a relaxed atmosphere.
"It is a matter close to our hearts to support a school that teaches children knowledge and values at the same time," said Mr Butting in conversation. Impressed by the commitment and atmosphere at the school, he and Mrs Butting pledged their continued support.
The donation from BUTTING CryoTech will be invested specifically in infrastructure projects and the further development of the school. BUTTING is proud to support educational institutions such as the Freie Schule Unterneukirchen and thus make a contribution to the future of young people.
