BUTTING in Schwedt is our expert unit for the construction of vessels and pipes, assemblies and industry services. One cornerstone of the Schwedt team's success lies in all-round service: Through the combination of vessel and pipe construction, of CAD planning and cost-saving prefabrication until installation is completed, and later maintenance, BUTTING takes on all the responsibility.
Extensive capacity is available, with over 370 employees, more than 19 000 m2 of hall surface and hall ceilings of up to 21 m.
BUTTING vessels have been used in a wide range of industries for decades, to meet a variety of requirements. With our efficient production facilities and skilled employees, we produce not only vessels, but also equipment, large tanks and columns at the Schwedt location. We have taken responsibility for construction and subsequent installation for a number of projects in Germany and abroad.
Thus in the last few years, a total of more than 1 000 installation projects could be implemented. The know-how, reliability and flexibility of our fitters have become our trademark here.
In the middle of 2020, the BUTTING family was enriched by another member: The family business TEXTORIS Apparate-und Rohrleitungsbau from Düren was taken over by BUTTING Anlagenbau in Schwedt. As a result of the business takeover, BUTTING Anlagenbau will in future be able to draw on the many years of experience and expertise of the employees of a recognized company. Thus, the continuity of TEXTORIS could be secured and the capacities as well as the competence in apparatus and piping construction of BUTTING Anlagenbau in Schwedt could be expanded. Both companies benefit from this merger. Due to the mutual support in all areas of project handling, new and especially larger orders can be handled without any problems. Since TEXTORIS has been integrated into the BUTTING Group, various maintenance projects have been won in the paper industry as well as in other industries have been won.
From constructions design, production and surface engineering to assembly - the merger means that all processes can be handled by the BUTTING Group. This makes us a reliable partner for handling production orders in the workshop, on construction sites and as part of maintenance processes.
