Family Day and Thanksgiving at BUTTING

Two big events took place on the BUTTING premises in Knesebeck in October.

On 2 October, all our employees and their families were invited to have a look at the BUTTING workshops. Around 3 000 visitors enjoyed themselves on our premises and found out more about BUTTING as an employer and about the various sectors and prod-ucts of the stainless steel processor. At the BUTTING Family Day, there were also many different attractions for kids and grown-ups, such as a bungee trampoline, face-painting for children and an obstacle course with mini-forklift trucks for kids and a 15 m high lifting platform.

On 4 October, the second event, a harvest thanksgiving service, took place on BUTTING's company premises in Knesebeck. Over 600 people came together for the St. Catherine's church community service in one of the family businesses production halls at 10am. The church service, which had the motto of "growing and blossoming", was led by State Superintendent Dieter Rathing and Pastor Christina vom Brocke.

Hermann Butting says, "I am impressed by the active participation in our events and am already looking forward to the next. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of those who attended and helped out."
