BUTTING employees give blood

As part of our commitment to occupational health and safety (OHS), BUTTING invited staff to give blood on 29 June 2015. The team from the Springe branch of the German Red Cross welcomed staff in our canteen. All of BUTTING’s employees were given the opportunity to take part and be blood donors outside of working hours. A total of 28 employees gave blood to save lives. Six of the donors were giving blood for the first time.

The team from the Springe branch of the German Red Cross was responsible for carrying out the blood donor campaign and for supervising the donors. The local Knesebeck branch of the German Red Cross gave the team its full support. The voluntary assistants ensured that the event was run efficiently and accompanied the donors to the recovery area after the donors had given blood. Here, all of the participants could regain their energy with drinks, filled bread rolls and sausages.
